Alon Stivi,
the President of Direct Measures International,
Inc. and Advisory Board Member, at UCI’s
Center for Unconventional Security Affairs
(CUSA).
Alon Stivi immigrated
to the United States from Israel and has
served as an advisor to federal, state,
and local government agencies, including
the U.S. military and law enforcement,
as well as corporate executives and celebrities
since 1988. He taught close combat tactics
to the US Navy SEAL CQB Instructors and
trains First Responders in critical incidents
intervention. He manages school security
programs and is involved in university
research on school violence since 1999.
Prior to his arrival in the U. S., Mr.
Stivi served as a Platoon Sergeant in
the Israeli Special Forces and participated
in numerous missions in defense of the
State of Israel and the war against terrorism.
He is a member of the American Society
of Industrial Security (ASIS), a Board
of Advisor member of the Center for Unconventional
Security Affairs (CUSA) at the University
of California at Irvine and is the Training
Advisor for the International Association
of Counter Terrorism and Security Professionals
(IACSP). He serves as a Reserve Deputy
with the Los Angeles Sheriff Department
(LASD). |
