It
is no secret that convicts train to fight police while in jail
and edged weapons have become the fastest growing threat to
law enforcement. The possibility of facing a sudden attack by
a terrorist armed with an edged weapon has been a serious concern
in Israel for many years. As a result, specific training methods
were developed to teach police and military personnel how to
combat this threat.
Unlike
most traditional Martial Arts which offer knife fighting
training in
unrealistic attack settings, our program provides reality
based, effective survival techniques proven in decades of
conflict in the Middle East by elite units of the Israeli
Defense Forces. Upon completion of this course, participants
will have a clear understanding of knife combat and the necessary
skill, if followed by
practice, to quickly and safely defeat an assailant armed
with an edged weapon.
If you are an officer who understands the risks associated
with the 21 foot rule and who realizes the danger
inherent in the prevalence of knives in society, this course
is for you.
