Alon Stivi, is an internationally recognized leader on security, violence prevention, counterterrorism and travel safety. He earned his reputation through first hand experience and has demonstrated expertise in predicting and preventing violent threats. He is the Founder and President of Direct Measures International and oversees all aspects of company operations.

Alon immigrated to the United States from Israel and had served as an advisor to federal, state and local law enforcement. He has advised and protected celebrities and corporate executives since 1998. He taught close combat tactics to the US Navy SEAL CQB Instructors and trains First responders in the use of force and successful outcome-based response to critical incidents. He teaches university-accredited workshops on violence and is involved in research on school safety since 1999.

He is certified by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Dignitary Security/Protection and has coordinated and implemented protective details for dignitaries and traveling executives worldwide. He has protected fortune 500 executives and dignitaries such as: Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Warren Buffet, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and guests of the 2000 Democratic Convention. He is has developed and implemented a broad spectrum of security programs and an innovative Integrated Crisis Management System software.

Prior to his arrival in the U. S., Mr. Stivi served as a Platoon Sergeant of the Israeli Special Forces. He participated in missions in defense of the State of Israel and trained troops for combat in the areas of small unit infantry tactics, airborne operations, Infiltration / exfiltration, close combat and emergency medicine.

He the U.S. Master Instructor of the Hisardut® Israel Survival System - the only system in the world specially developed to combat terrorism, and a two times World Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame inductee and the World Full Contact Survival Fighting Champion Titleholder (1994). He is also certified NRA Range Safety Officer and Firearm Instructor and is responsible for the development and implementation of all tactical training programs.

He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and a Board of Advisor member of the Center for Unconventional Security Affairs (CUSA) at the University of California at Irvine. He is also the Training Advisor for the International Association of Counter Terrorism and Security Professionals (IACSP) and serves as a Reserve Deputy with the Los Angeles Sheriff Department, Emergency Operations Bureau.
